VÖLGÄ MÄLÖRT was birthed in August 2015 at ToAPP CAMP. It began as a late nigh jam session, my inspiration being the bands SUNN O))) and SLEEP, adding flavors of both bands to the mix. This evolved into an exploration of the Drone and Doom genres. In 2018 Chris Constantini created the name „Henry Lowman and his Apostles in VÖLGÄ MÄLÖRT“. I loved the name, hence the MÄLÖRT APOSTLES at ToAPP 2021.

I have selected tracks from the ROADHOUSE jams, though there were other performances performed locally, some solo.

IAs this project has evolved yet again, I present this recording to give context to the proceedings. Regardless of the name, I never intended parody as in SPINAL TAP, rather as serious musical exploration.

Given the heaviness of these tracks, I leave it to you to decide.
